As a Coordinating Council, we expect: |
-
Provides the governing structure to MYAA
-
The Coordinating Council shall have 20-25 members (That number will be evaluated regularly, and changed as needed)
-
Council member must attend 75% of all meetings (Special circumstances will be excused)
-
Provides leadership to the coalition
-
Council member will be a voting member of MYAA for coalition decisions
-
A membership agreement will be signed yearly
-
Must be actively involved in coalition planning

As a Member Affiliate, we expect: |
-
Help develop a communication system among MYAA, Support Centers and local communities
-
Share MYAA messages with your community members, local leaders and elected officials
-
Develop and maintain relationships with local officials as well as state legislators
-
Assist with rallying grassroots legislative support as needed
-
Promote policy changes at the local and county level
-
Assist with rally youth support
(Individuals can move within the levels of membership, which will be evaluated as needed.)
